A nice simple mourning motto design with a place to display a picture of the deceased. During the 1870-1880s it was popular to use perforated paper for making picture frames because the paper could be easily cut and it held it's shape. The printed mourning mottoes often had a option to include a photograph as part of the design. Stitching was an excellent way to work through grief.
